On June 19th Boy Scout Troop 150 held its Court of Honor. The scouts did things a little different this time and as a result, were able to present every single rank in scouting in one night.

The evening kicked off by presenting the scouts with merit badges, Polar Bears awards, Operation Flag patches, Totenchips and Cyberchips, all awards earned in the past few months.

Receiving Scout rank was Wyatt Cameron, Brenden Craig, Nathan Dray, Maddox French, Jacob Handy, Jacob Kibler, Zeb Snyder, Luke Somers, Marshall Stoltzfus, Loudon Stryffeler, and Devin Whitaker.

Receiving Tenderfoot rank was Lincoln Retterer. Receiving Second Class rank was Cian Billiter, Jacob Cogan, Andrew Maley, Daniel Smith, and Joshua Smith. Receiving 1st Class rank was John Fink, Receiving Star rank was Hunter Baker and Preston Randal. Receiving Life rank was Finn Billiter and Cole Castle.

The highlight of the evening was presenting Stephen Biedka with his Eagle rank. For his project Stephen excavated and installed a brick walkway for the students at First Christian Church along with their tiered flowerbed along Route 30 next to the playground. This caps off a Scouting path that goes all the way back to Cub Scouts. Congratulations to Stephen and everyone else on a job well done.

The troop also has scouts out at the Philmont Ranch in New Mexico on a high adventure backpacking trip. Troop 150 heads to summer camp July 9 at Seven Ranges Scout reservation.
