Pastor Harley Wheeler (above, center), of Minerva United Methodist Church, accepts a donation for the church's food bank of 25 cases of butter from Venae Watts (left) and Adam Mueller on behalf of the fifth-generation-family-owned Minerva Dairy.

The Minerva Dairy donated 600 eight-ounce pieces of unsalted butter to Minerva United Methodist Food Bank for distribution to families. Each month the church provides food to between 200 and 250 families, most of whom live in Stark and Carroll counties.

A week later, Jim McLaughlin, from the Minerva Community Outreach, loads his truck with 23 cases of 8-ounce Smoked Maplewood butter, which was generously donated by Minerva Dairy. Minerva Community Outreach distributes out of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church every fourth Friday of the month, 9 am. until noon.
